Introduction

The San Pablo Colleges Graduate School in the field of education offers two (2) graduate degree program: The Master’s Degree consisting of Master of Arts in Educational Management, in English, in Filipino and in Guidance and Counseling while the Doctoral Degree: Doctor of Education with specialization in Educational Management. The main objective is to underscore the professional practitioners in their dynamic commitment, concerns and professional enthusiasm being education providers/knowledge builders particularly in the 21 st Century Learning where tremendous challenges, demands and changes are called for them to uphold continuing professional development as well as Lifelong Learning among prospective educational leaders.

Doctor in Business Administration

Objectives

  1. To be able to demonstrate skills and competencies, particularly in the field of business education management, including business education programs, business enterprises and organizations; and consultancy services concerning business and educational projects and programs; utilization of information and communication technology as applied to business and education and commercial firms; and updating relevant business education courses.
  2. To acquire these skills and competencies, course shall have to be learned in the disciplines of business and enterprise development in local and multi-cultural settings; busioness education curriculum for present and future educators, academic professionals and business consultants.
  3. To encourage business and educational leaders to the pursuit of relevant and in-depth researches which will improve the business climate and uplift the quality of life of Filipino people.

Doctor in Education

Objectives

  1. To carry out the responsibiity of discovering new knowledge in the field of specialization to attain new heights of efficiency, effectivity, and productivity.
  2. To acquire professional competencies that are needed to grapple with current and future educational demands while remaining rooted to the nation and its cultural and humanistic traditions.
  3. To encourage educational leaders to the pursuit of relevant and in-depth researches that will contribute to the upliftment of the quality of life of Filipino people.

Master of Arts in Education

The Graduate School of San Pablo Colleges, regarded as one of the implementing arms of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is dedicated to the preservation of the noble ideas of men with the view to pursue the quest for quality and excellence in graduate education through encouragement and promotion of the national and regional development programs, projects, curricular relevance and other activities conducive to the attainment of graduate education goals.

Objectives

As a higher education institution of advanced studies in teacher education, the MA program shall:

  1. Nurture an instructional program tat enchances creative and critical thinking, independent study, appreciation of cultural heritag national identity, and spiritual values in an information technology-based process.
  2. Produce researches that aid instruction, build and strengthen new knowledge and enhance the quality of life of the sector it seeks to serve.
  3. Conduct an extension program that transfer appropriate technology, develops capability of human resources and institutions and disseminates information about educational concerns and issues.

  1. Increase the competence of professional nurses in their roles as nurse executives.
  2. Understand and integrate concepts and principles of ledership and management.
  3. Develop critical thinking and decision – making on problems and issues affecting nursing profession.

  • Equivalence of Non-Business Education graduate with at least 3 years of working experiences in any business establishment or3 years teaching any business subject(s) in the collegiate level
